aslo has one part of this lake and it is the biggest lake in the Balkan
peninsula.
A Glimpse of Bliss at Skadar Lake by Bojana Milekic, 16 The picturesque Lake Scadar is in Montenegro, in the south part of Yugoslavia.Only 20 kilometers separate this lake from the Adriatic sea. Three quarters of the lake belong to Yugoslavia and the rest to Albania. At the same time it is the largest lake in the whole country. Many people who travel on their summer holiday do not miss to pass near this national park, and a lot of them stop there to enjoy a wonderful view.There are strong reasons for my enthusiasm. Simply, the first moment when you arive there you'll feel the same way. The most striking are certainly numerous flocks of birds.This
lake is a reservation of many different sorts of birds, but there are
also other animals. Probably the most interesting feature is the presence
of pelicans, very unusual birds.These animals are present everywhere -
in the air, in deep, clean water and in very abundant vegetation.They
are the soul of this lake. When you stand in front of Lake Scadar, the
water extends as far as the eye can see. However it doesn't look simple.
The beauty of this place is filled up by the remote mountains of Montenegro
which suround it. This special place has a lot of special features.
