My place in town

Dušanova Street

I live in Dusanova Street, in the part of the town which is called Brdjani. Near my house there is a school . In my free time I go to the school playground with my friends from neighborhood . I like that place because it is alwaus full of children . There I can play basketball, volleyball or some other game . When I want to go for a walk , I go along Dusanova Street until I find myself in Karadjordjeva Street. That is my favourite place for a walk. I also like Knez Miloševa Street which is next to Karadjordjeva Street. In future I wouldn't like to change anything because I like these places , just the way they are now .

Old Shooting Ground

There is a big park with a playground in the part of the town where I live. Next to the park is a shooting ground with an old aeroplane which children adore. In my neighbourhood there is also a big field where we often play. Opposite my house is a Sony Club "Arena". It is always full of children. My favorite place is the shooting ground or, to be more specific, the aeroplane. My friends and I always come at weekends with bicycles and have a picnic there. You are asking about its future? I don't know. I think it will be pretty the same thing as it is now. Maybe some little changes will be there. I don't know. I like it the way it is now.

Pecina Park

Valjevo is a medium size town.It's an interesing city with a lot of exciting places.It's a clean city, too.My favourite place is Pecina park.When I see it, I feel excited. I like riding my bicycle there. I usually go there with my friends.There are no cars and it is full of very old and tall pine trees, which give good shade in the summer.

The Gradac River

This is a small small town. Its name is Valjevo. My favorite place is the Gradac. The Gradac is a river. I like the Gradac because it's a clean river. I go fishing there with my family every week in the summer. We eat sandwiches and drink coca cola. When it is hot we have a swim in its cool green water.

Marko's Chair

Valjevo is a medium-size town. My favourite place is Marko's Chair, on a hill above Valjevo. When I climb to the top, I can see the tennis field, football stadium and Pecina Park. When I go for a walk with my parents we usually visit all of these places. It's a long walk - it takes 2 hours but we like doing it because we feel relaxed.

There isn't only one

My favourite restaurants in Valjevo are: Corner, Todorovic, Đipsi, Maestro, and other nice places are: my mum's surgery, the Post office, where my father works, Pecina park, my school, ... . Some new buildings will soon be made in my part of the town, which is called Kolubara, and I hope that 100 buildings will
be made and that I will live in one of them.

Big-nosed Mickey

My favourite restaurant in Valjevo is ''Mikica Nosonja''. It's a very nice place. The people are very kind and the food is good. There are all kinds of food. When I come there I take Karadjordjeva steak and a cold coke. After the meal I always have a stomachache, but it isn't from the food, it's from my fast eating, which is a proof of what the food is like. I go there with my friends, but sometimes I also go there with my family.
