Tamara's Diary

Today was another boring day at school. We didn't have our Serbian period because the teacher wasn't at school. I wonder what the reason of his absence is. He's probably ill or something.
The only thing that moved us a little was the information that the whole class (except two students who were absent) got F's in computer science. Well, I could say we deserved it, but the teacher wasn't playing fair, either.
When I got home I found a mess everywhere. My parents hired two men to build a wall in our yard. Everybody in the house was very nervous, so I tried to avoid them, because I wasn't in the mood, too.

I had my history period today. God, it was hard work! Our teacher talked so fast that I started thinking of putting him on tape. I think that's the only way to write down everything he says. He managed to say a lesson consisting of about four or five pages in our book, in less than 30 minutes. I envy him the speed of talking, really!

We also had two periods of chemistry. Mosha brought us our written exercises and marks. I got B, which was not so bad considering that I've hardly touched the book. In fact, I'm very satisfied with it.
They've finished the famous wall in my yard, finally! I'm very glad about it because my parents and grandparents won't be so nervous anymore.

My Mathematics 3 is waiting for me. Oh, what a torture! I have about 300 problems to solve during this weekend, because we have our written work in maths on Monday. It will be an adequate punishment for my "having fun" for so long. Thanks God, it's Friday and I will go out with my friends tonight. I wouldn't miss it for the world because I really need to get away from school and home.

I've spent the whole morning doing maths. My head aches already.
In the afternoon, at about four o'clock, I went to my friend’s to help her with maths. I've had enough of maths for life. Luckily, our friend from class, Marko, is having a birthday party tonight so we're going there. I'm sure I'd go crazy if I had to solve one more problem in maths.
The party was great. There were no folk songs and I liked it very much. The only thing I didn't like was some flashlight (or something like that) because it was unpleasant for the eyes. I got home at about three o'clock in the morning.

I did some maths again. I can't do it anymore. The worst thing is I can't concentrate on it. When I sit down, I start to think about other things which have nothing in common with maths.
I got a terrible headache in the afternoon and I shivered. My temperature was about 38 degrees, so it's no wonder. Great! I've caught a cold at that party last night. Now, I probably won't go to school, and all my work during this weekend was useless. If only I hadn't done all those problems, I would have felt better.

I've stayed at home today because it was an order by my mother. I'm worried about the exursion. If I don't get better till Friday I won't go. It's so boring sitting at home all day and taking pills and drinking tea every half an hour. I've watched TV all day, and it is boring, too. Such a bad passtime....
